How much is my face worth?

This photo was taken without a flash using natural lighting.  I just happen to have rather yellowish tinged skin.

I've been wanting to do this tag for a while now but have been putting it off as I know I'm not what one would consider to be your typical beauty blogger.. but then I thought, what the heck!, that could only make this post even more interesting, right?  So here I am!  A face full of my very neutral day to day make up, and the contents of my daily make up bag photographed for the world to see!

L-R:  Mary Kay Concealer $21 Rimmel London Wake Me Up Foundation $20 Mary Kay 'Sparkling Cider' Mineral Cheek Colour $16 CoverGirl 'Country Woods' 4 Kit Eye Enhancers $5 Rimmel London 'Sable' Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Definer $12 Rimmel London Glam Eyes Day2Night Mascara $17 BYS 'Dusty Rose' Lip Gloss & Lipstick Duo $4

Total = $95

Wow!  Not too bad of a total price if I do say so myself, especially considering that I usually grab these items even cheaper whenever they come on sale. :)  I should also point out that the first three items pictured, plus the Day2Night mascara, are the same items that I would wear on a big night out as well, so they were definitely money well spent!

  3. That is such a lovely photograph of you Felicity! I had the country woods eye kit until I recently dropped it on my bathroom floor and it broke up into hundreds of little pieces! If I added mine up, it would be under next to nothing as I only wear mascara, eyeshadow and lip stick.

    1. Naww, thanks Lauren. :) And that must've sucked! I'm lucky enough to have never broken any of my make up before, although I'm fairly certain I just jinxed myself hehe. ;)

  5. Geez louise, Felicity! You are beautiful! That photo is stunning (and absolutely frame worthy...go ahead, be rightfully vain and hang it up proudly in your living room haha)! No but really, your skin is beautiful. I'm so jelly!
    I'll take the green eyes, too, thanks. :)
    I don't really know too much about makeup either, but you seem to wear pretty basic stuff. The only thing here I don't really wear is eyeshadow. But I want to! I just don't know how to do it. Oh, and I don't know what concealer is. I do, however, want to try out that day2night mascara! Now that is a product that I buy plenty of, even before I run out of the other tube, because I just can't get enough of trying out new ones and seeing which make my eyelashes look the fullest and best.

    1. Naww! That is such a lovely compliment Roni! Obviously I would never do that, but that fact that you think I could is super duper sweet. :D

      I'm still learning about make up myself, but I can tell you that if you get yourself a neutral coloured eye shadow palette you will have no problems teaching yourself how to apply it. As for concealer, basically it's just like a thick foundation that you apply to your blemishes before or after you put on your foundation. I always put mine on before my foundation, though apparently most people seem to wear it on top.. it's entirely up to you though.
