I haven't featured a guest blogger in a while, so I figured it was about time I introduced you all to Lauren from Tastes like love! If you haven't yet had the pleasure to stumble upon Lauren's blog, then I suggest you do so immediately. She rocks! :)

Tell us a little bit about yourself.
Hey Pursuit Of Felicity readers, I'm Lauren from over at Tastes Like Love, where I blog about my daily adventures, fancy folk, my illustrations and delightful things I come across. I like floral print dresses, coffees at cafes, design, my husband Luke, picnics & movie nights, and I wear stockings every day. I'm here today to share a little bit about myself, and answer some questions Felicity has asked me.
What inspired you to start your blog?
I've had a couple of blogs over the years that I didn't take too seriously, and didn't really put myself into. It was the blog I had during the last year I studied design that I really started to get into 'blogging', but never really had a lot of time for. After I finished studying, I found myself with a lot of spare time in between drawing & looking for a job. I was feeling really inspired at the time to share my illustrations and decided one rainy Saturday morning to start blogging again. After I started Tastes Like Love I discovered the whole blogging community and have come across so many creative ladies that keep me inspired constantly!
Do you have any tips on how to run a successful blog?
The best tip I could give any new bloggers is to post about the things that you like, and most importantly, post about the things that you would genuinely like to read yourself on other blogs. Before I had any readers or followed any blogs I naturally gravitated towards posting about the things I do everyday. I like to read every day lifestyle blogs about how other people fill their days, they inspire me to make the most out of my days when Luke isn't working.
Your custom illustrations are awesome. What made you decide to start doing them?
Aww, thank you! I've been drawing girl characters for a while now, and the decision to do custom illustrations came from pure boredom at work last year. I had a crappy office job that I hated and avoided doing actual work whenever I could. I drew a funny picture of a boy that sat at the desk across from me, and my friend Holly saw the picture and asked if I would draw her a proper illustration. So I looked at some photos from her Facebook and drew a vector illustration, which I have as an example on my Custom page on my blog. In January I overcame my shyness, and made a Custom page offering my services for customised illustrations of yourself/a friend/couples for your blog or as a present.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
In five years time my husband Luke & I will hopefully be running our own cafe, we'll have started our little family, own a French bulldog named Wolfgang, I'll have an awesome deer in the forest tattoo, and still be blogging about it all!
